Inputs to the projection systems include a variety of sources including a VCR, DVD player, document camera, and computer inputs located in floor boxes throughout the seating area. Multiple broadcast quality video cameras are provided for video recording and as sources to the integrated video conferencing system. A digital video mixer provides seamless switching of cameras and other video sources. The audio system includes a conference microphone system with integral speakers, a variety of wireless microphones, press outputs located in the floor boxes, and multiple zones of distributed ceiling speakers. Audio mixing is provided by a multi-channel mixing console. Control of all equipment is provided by an integral control system with both wired and wireless touch panels. AV control rooms were designed for operator efficiency and comfort as well as general equipment storage. The acoustical designs included partition details to ensure proper noise isolation to and from surrounding spaces, mechanical system noise attenuation details to ensure low mechanical system noise levels, and finish selections to ensure an appropriate reverberation time.
