The MCI Center, Washington DC

Project consisted of a multipurpose sports arena seating approximately 20,000 occupants. MBP's responsibilities included design of interior room acoustics, acoustical isolation, and measures for control of HVAC noise. Responsibilities also included design and specification of multipurpose audio reinforcement and paging systems for all concourses, suites, press areas, locker rooms, and support areas. Further responsibilities included measurement, analysis, and prediction of the impact of vibration from underground Metro train and parking on the arena.
